I hired certapro painters to do a complete interior paint job of my house for a move in. They finished the job in the estimated time and were very friendly. However, when I am spending the kind of money to hire a company such as certaPro I would expect the job to be done right the first time. More time should have been spent taping and masking the hardware and edges of walls so that there wasn't any over painting done. I had to call certa and have them come back and do some touch-up and some cleanup work because they were in such a rush to finish the job in the estimated time frame and I am still finding things that were missed. I would shop around as I feel that you can get just as good of a job done for perhaps a little less money. In response to owner comments about a 9 rating, that was upon initial inspection. However, as time goes by other issues have been noticed that were missed at first. If Certa would let me retake their evaluation it would be a 5/10. The paint was supposed to be washable because I have small children. When it came time to wash walls to my surprise and disappointment the paint came right off. I could go on but the point had been made.
These guys were great. Tim came to my home and taught me so much about painting, he really took the time to explain things. No high pressure sales, more like a consultant. We dealt with Jill in the office and she bent over backwards to help us out, even after we made several changes at the last minute. The painting crew was on time, very polite and respectful and did a super job. I will call Certapro again.
I hired CertaPro in September to paint wood work in my living room ,two radiator covers trim around two windows,one door ,one wall and one ceiling.Also wooden stair case stairs and spindles and the wooden sides going up the steps.Were suppose to put two coats of paint.Somethings they forgot to paint at all.They hardly sanded anything nor did they fill in any holes or cracks with wood putty or chalking.They never wiped anything down because you can see a lot of dust and fuzz mixed in the fresh paint. They were suppose to cleanup before leaving each day but didn't because there was dirt onthe living room carpet that I had to run the sweeper.Also never covered the top dark banister on the stairway or cover the ceiling fan because there were splatters of white paint all over ceiling blades and the dark banister.Even after I told the one painter that was sent back the first time to fix things he said he would clean the paint off but never did . Had to have them return twice and still looks very unprofessonal.So I have now filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau which is still an an ongoing open case.yet.

We built our own home, a 2,000 sq ft addition, a 3,000 sq ft barn and a large bucket truck building... but it is getting hard to keep up with everything. Having done all the painting in four buildings over 50 years, we know how it should be done. CertaPro Painters does painting the way I would do it; that is the highest recommendation I can give. Paint a large strip of cardboard to choose the color you want. Read their contract and be ready when the painters arrive. The estimator, scheduler and painters are all nice, competent. professional people.
