Lost a star for service. So 3 stars first impression. We decided we will give it another go next time we have family in town as it is a very homely feeling place with good food. Hopefully they can earn back that star with proper server training.
First time here. What a fun place to dine, not at all what I expected on the inside. Very unique decor and dining setup. The food is served in family sized portions so one dish can feed anywhere from 2 on up depending which one of the two sizes you order. Our Sangrias were so delicious and the food was great too. The service was fast and our server was very friendly.
Place came recommended by several co-workers. I was expecting a good dining experience.
Some new menu items have been added recently & sound interesting. But we tried the stuffed shells & I was surprised how much I liked it! Some spicy sausage in the filing made it super tasty. Our waitress was especially helpful - even though it was late night on a Saturday. Good experience for us.
First time there and it was great I definitely will make another trip . The hostess with the glasses and blonde hair was extremely nice and so was our waitress in the chefs table she was awesome . Food was really tasty as well
Now the service.. It wasn't horrible. We were seated promptly, greeted kindly, given the tour of the kitchen. One of the overhead lights had an issue and was strobing over our table. I said something and they promptly remedied it. Server came within a minute of being seated and took drink orders. We all ordered water and I asked for a glass of wine. We got three waters and a glass of wine. Had to ask again for my water. No big deal right? So as we begin eating water runs out. With empty glasses on the table she stops by to ask if we are okay. We say we are in a good way, expecting the glasses will be topped off by default. Nope. Left us high and dry. Had to flag her down and actually tell her we need more water. Now I don't know about you but when I go to a place like this I expect to be able to take a drink, at any time, without running out, and I should never have to tell my server how to do her job. You're standing over my empty glass, pay attention. I'm paying you so I dont have to be bothered with these things.
Had an excellent birthday here. The staff were amazing and made it a truly memorable experience. Would recommend to all. Oh, and the food is great too!
First the food. 4 stars on food quality. The food was good. The server did a good job explaining up front that the small and large portions feed between 3-5 people and its served home style. You plate your own food. I'm good with that. Spaghetti with meatballs, meatballs are like baseball size or so. Small size dish was definitely plenty for two.
